It the Lord that makes us to prosper, in Gen 39:23 The keeper of the prison looked not to anything that was under his hand; because the LORD was with him, and that which he did, the LORD made it to prosper.” This shows that without the Lords blessing on someone your work will not prosper. The Lord is concerned about our everyday activities and He wants us to prosper.

When we obey the Lord we are sure that we will prosper this is because it’s written in Deut 29:9 “Keep therefore the words of this covenant, and do them, that ye may prosper in all that ye do.”

Do you want the Lord to make everything we do to prosper? This is the antidote that the LORD gave to Joshua in Joshua 1:7 “Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee: turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest prosper whithersoever thou goest.” The same words that the Lord gave Joshua have been repeated in 1 Kings 2:3 to Solomon. This is a sure thing that if we practice what the word of God says we will surely prosper.

The Lord is not a human being to lie or repent and He watches over His word to perform it, if we faithfully obey everything written in His word we will surely prosper. The prosperity and wealth that the Lord gives has no sorrow in it, it also stays forever and will not just be for a little moment and then it vanishes.

Jesus showed us that the word of God will never change and he said that the earth will end but not even a dot of the word will perish. If the word of God isn’t powerful why did Jesus use it against Satan? This shows us that all the answers we need in this earth are in the word of God. We cannot operate outside the word. This is to say that the word of God recorded about prospering will come to pass if we practice according to what the word says.

The Lord wants us to prosper all around, 3John 1:2 “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.”
